Do you happen to own a Canon Mirrorless Camera? Do you have any EF Lenses lying around but no DSLR to use it on? Well, that was my situation when my Canon EOS 7D broke and was running around with a Canon EOS M3 plus a Kit Lens. My Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 lens and Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8 lens were just of no use due to the fact that Canon mirroless cameras are now using EF-M lenses, which are a smaller. My EF lenses won't fit on the EF-M lens socket rendering them useless. Of course Canon wouldn't want their loyal customers to suffer when they want to shift from DSLR to Mirrorless cameras so they came up with a lens adapter to make EF lenses fit to an EF-M socket. That was the thing I needed to be able to use my EF lenses on my M3. But, unfortunately I didn't have any extra money to buy one. A Canon EF-M Lens Adapter is priced at around 4.8k to 6k *gasp* I didn't even have any extra money to get my 7D fixed. I was a bit desperate and thought about selling my M3 to buy a new entry level DSLR just to not waste my EF lenses. Then when I was browsing the internet one day, I stumbled into a 3rd party lens adapter branded Viltrox, which was almost half the price of the original Canon EF-M adapter. So, I risked it and bought one online. When I got it, I tested it right away and I was so happy with the results. The Viltrox EF-M Lens Adapter could do all the functionality that I needed from a Canon EF-M Lens Adapter. The build quality was solid and the auto-focus was superb. It's a very good alternative for those shot on budget like me.
Here are sample photos that I took while using the Viltrox EF-M Lens Adapter with EF 50mm f/1.8 lens mounted on a Canon EOS M3:

Like I said the Auto-Focus was superb, check out the YouTube link below to see how quick it focuses:
